The city of Manila has always had and continues to have a fascinating history. Every district tells its own unique story, steeped in history and local flavor that has charmed its millions of visitors throughout the centuries. Araw ng Maynila is celebrated on June 24th, and this month we feature to the real story behind the siege of Manila and pay homage to one of Philippine history’s first heroes, Rajah Soliman.
