BOOKS ON CAVITE HISTORY NOW AVAILABLE
In celebration of De La Salle University’s 25th Anniversary, the Cavite Studies Center is launching the following books on the history of Cavite: Saloobin: Sagot ni Aguinaldo sa mga Paratang ng Dakilang Lumpo, annotated and translated by Emanuel Calairo; Cavite en Siglo 19: Translation of Selected 19th Century Documents, edited and translated by Michael Francisco; and Cavite Cultura a Historia: Papers Presented in the Third Annual Seminar on Cavite History and Culture, edited by Teresita Unabia and Victor Immanuel Cuarto.
The book launching is part of CSC’s three-month campaign on Cavite historical awareness. Dubbed as “Legacies,” the campaign includes a tribute to former National Historical Institute chair Esteban de Ocampo and the annual seminar of Cavite History.
